Assembly is the only organization in Greater Cleveland that works across silos to ensure the arts improve our collective well-being. As an umbrella entity, we amplify the works of a plethora of organizations, businesses, and artists. We are particularly attuned to the needs of individual artists and small creative businesses, in addition to arts and cultural nonprofits, which deliver outsized value to the region’s cultural vibrancy.
Assembly has made racial equity a core priority for our mission and goals. Our 27 board members represent a diversity of backgrounds and disciplines.
Assembly leverages private support to generate additional public support. We advocate for cultural policies that benefit society – from arts-informed investments in neighborhoods and infrastructure projects to small-business supports for artists and entrepreneurs.
